A lifelong resident of Long Island and NY Metro area, Barry brings over 25 years of experience in delivering superior results through leadership and a keen understanding of real estate, facilities management, and finance.

Most recently, Barry was Principal, Real Estate Management for Northwell Health, the largest employer in NY State with over 23 hospitals, where he was responsible for over 5M square feet of leased real estate, developing and managing the strategies to meet long term goals of the organization and proactively working with senior leadership and key business units to reduce costs and improve efficiencies. Barry was tapped for his leadership in Northwell’s ambulatory expansion with a focus on Long Island.

Previously, he was Vice President, Global Real Estate and Corporate Services, Elsevier, the largest scientific medical publisher in the world, where he created and launched the real estate and facilities department for the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and South America division employing 4,000 people, managing 3M square feet spread across 40 locations.

At Brown Harris Stevens, Barry aims to leverage his in-house real estate experience to help landlords and clients identify high-yield investment opportunities and navigate the complexities of office leasing.
