Irwin serves as the Senior Director of Retail, Leasing & Sales for Brown Harris Stevens Commercial Real Estate Division since 2005.

Irwin is in sales since 1975. Irwin’s family was in Retail sales for over 30 years. They opened, owned and operated luncheonettes, Variety Discount Dept stores and helped development Astroland in Coney Island, Brooklyn. Irwin always helped at the family stores and work fulltime as a craftsman. His skills included, tool & Die maker, Machinist, Auto Glassier, Plate Glass cutter and installer, Con Edison general utility man, Flooring, lighting, Tile work and much more.

Prior to joining BHS in 2005, Irwin opened what was known as Rachlin Realty Corp, on East 16th Street in Brooklyn New York, one of the first Exclusively Commercial Real Estate companies in the borough, focusing on retail, office and industrial property for lease or sale.

Irwin has accrued over 30 years of experience in Commercial Real Estate during which he has represented tenants, buyers and landlords in the development, acquisition and or disposition of mixed use, retail, office, industrial or investment property. Irwin is a highly skilled, seasoned, veteran Broker & professional negotiator. He has successfully negotiated over 4 million sq ft of property in the five boroughs and long island with an emphasis on Brooklyn, Queens & south west Nassau County.
